Welcome to my visual diary of the beautiful birds I photographed during the fall and winter months. I was so blessed to encounter two new bird species for me....an Indigo Bunting and a Swamp Sparrow...both species photographed at the LA Arboretum. And, I photographed a Peregrine Falcon and a Merlin Falcon, in my own neighborhood, which is truly amazing!

A House Wren underneath an Aloe plant as it forages for insects. It is hard to see, but the wren does have an insect in its bill.
