Welcome to my visual diary of the beautiful birds I photographed during spring. I wish I had more pictures, but during the season one of my cats became very ill and required hospitalization, surgery, and lots of medical care upon his return home. He was my priority and I did not go out into the field to take pictures for more than a month. I am happy to report that the kitty is much improved and while I was home bound, I was so blessed to encounter a new bird species for me....a Eurasian Collared Dove, photographed in my own backyard.
