Timing is everything! I was waiting for this male Lesser Goldfinch to emerge from the field of wild flowers when he suddenly flew up and perched for a only a second on this Lupine flower. I got one shot, with him looking directly at me, so I was very happy to capture this colorful and beautiful moment!
