Welcome to my visual diary of the beautiful birds I photographed during the Summer months. It was a brutally hot and humid summer! We had a record breaking day of 117 degrees in my neighborhood and many 100 + degree days in July and August. In such extreme heat, the birds seek shelter, and are not so accessible to photograph. So, I took it one day at a time and was grateful for each day I was able to venture out into nature and photograph the birds.
