Capturing the Splendor of Nature and Divine Light

A Black-tailed deer named "John Wesley". John Wesley was named by the staff of the First United Methodist Church of Pacific Grove after the Methodist Minister John Wesley (1703-1791). In the 18th century, John Wesley called people to rethink church and make the whole world our parish. It is in this spirit that the Church staff watches over John Wesley since he has several birth deformities, one of which is a non-viable back leg. John Wesley is given fresh apples each morning with an endless dose of kindness and compassion.
