Capturing the Splendor of Nature and Divine Light
Lowering the light, reveals The Light
“No one lights a lamp in order to hide it behind the door: the purpose of light is to create more light, to open people's eyes, to reveal the marvels around.” ~ Paulo Coelho
In April of 2019, I was at a friend's home and I was videotaping The Light surrounding her dog. At one point, Jesus came forward as a blue colored orb, and promptly went over to my friend and shined His Light near her feet, and over her left leg. Since she was sitting right next to me, the flash from my camera washed out the color of His Light. So, I told my friend that when I created the still images from the video, I would adjust the brightness so she could see His color. And, I did just that, by using my Lightroom software program and lowering the exposure on the images by -4.00, which was the lowest I could go. What I saw was dramatic! I had to see if the results would be equally as dramatic on some of my favorite still images of Mother Mary and the Archangels. When I lowered the exposure on those images, the results were breathtaking.
This gallery was inspired by the encounter with Jesus and my friend. Here, you will see how the color(s) of The Light are more saturated and vivid with the lighting turned down, which is the opposite of what should occur in photography. In some instances, you will see brilliant white cores of Light, within The Light, which are not visible in the videos. Which brings me to my next revelation. I then took a few videos and lowered the exposure on the videos and I watched how The Light shined brightly in the dark. While this gallery will only feature still images, I have created many videos for you in the other galleries that include segments of, "The Light in the dark," so you can see both the original video and The Light illuminating the dark.
I hope this new perspective of The Light helps you on your journey. Enjoy!
