Capturing the Splendor of Nature and Divine Light
The Light of Angels
Welcome into my first gallery of Angels. While you may believe in Angels, seeing the diversity of their Light bodies, and watching how the Angels interact with me, might not match up with what you have been told, what you have read, or what your vision of them may be. So, please keep an open heart, and an open mind, while you are spending time in this gallery. This may be challenging, and I understand, for it took me more than two years before I could fully comprehend, and embrace, that I was photographing Angels. Here’s why.
First and foremost, the true essence of the Angels, which is pure Light (energy), did not mirror my dreamy version of them. While I may not have truly bought into the image of a human-like figure, with large, feathered wings, I was comforted by such an image. After all, this form is most often depicted in fine art, religious statues, Christmas ornament, and store bought figurines. But, as non-physical Beings, Angels are not limited in form, size, or color and this fact was not part of my consciousness. Secondly, I could not find anyone else photographing Angels, so I had no one to compare my work with. When I showed some of my photographs to well-known spiritual teachers, they all said they had never seen anything like them. Finally, accepting and integrating a completely new belief about Angels took time. While the word “Angel” comes from the Greek word aggelos, which means “messenger,” Angels do not always come to me with a message. Sometimes the Angels "pop in" (and I mean that literally) to simply say hello or make their presence known in order to lift my mood. I thought that Angels were serious Beings, with only serious missions to fulfill, but I was the one who was putting limits on who they are, what they are, and the relationship I could have with them. Like Jesus, they have a wonderful sense of humor and fun. And like Jesus, they are always telling me to "lighten up" and not be so serious!
As you will see, the Angels that visit with me are beautiful Beings of Light that express Love and pure consciousness. They may come alone, in a pair, or in a group. Their Light bodies do not define them as either male or female, but they do display masculine and/or feminine colors depending on what they wish to communicate or in response to a personal request. And, their energy can definitely coincide with a masculine or feminine trait since their movements can range from strong and bold (Archangel Michael), lightning fast (Archangel Raphael), gentile and unhurried (Archangel Ariel), and playful and good-humored (Archangel Gabriel). So, to make it easier to share my journey with the Angels, you will read in my photo captions that I refer to them as either “he" or “she.”
While you are visiting this gallery, know that the Angels are using my passion for photography to communicate directly with YOU. While you may not physically see Angels in your daily life, through my photography they are confirming their existence and presence on earth. Know, that they honor your Light and they Love you for exactly who you are. They have shown me this truth over and over again (especially on the days when I am not having such enlightened thoughts) and I want you to embrace this truth! And, while the encounters I feature in this gallery have already taken place, the energies and blessings of the Angels are still present. The answer, support or assistance you desire at this time begins with trusting that Angelic support, guidance and intuition flows through your being and are available to you at all times.
This photograph was taken on April 29, 2014. I drove to an area where there were large art pieces and photographs hanging on the outside of a warehouse. I was not familiar with this area and as I began taking pictures, this stunning blue/green orb, which is the spirit of my grandfather, appeared above an image of Amelia Earhart. Look at his large energy trail! There are two words written on Amelia's photo; “spirit” and “courage.” Now, when I took this picture, I did not know my grandfather was above an image of Amelia Earhart. It was when I went back the next day to learn more about the artwork and photographs, that I realized the full impact of the experience. The words on Amelia's photo are so personal to my journey photographing The Light. It takes "courage" to live my truth that I photograph The Light ("spirit") of Jesus and Archangels. Also, my grandmother’s middle name was Amelia and my grandfather (who was a prominent physician) knew Amelia Earhart and often had her pilot him to see one of his patients that lived in another state. For me, there are no coincidences. That night everything aligned and I was given a personal message from my grandfather. He validated my truth and encouraged me to keep photographing The Light.
